Physicians formula youthful wear spotless foundation first impression

Wow that title was long! Hey guys so today i'm going to do something a little different I will be sharing my first impressions on the physicians formula youthful wear foundation. First off I like that it comes with a brush but it is very small but it is still well made. This foundation comes in a glass bottle. When I put the foundation on my hand I do see that the color is very dark I did pick the light shade but if you are very fair this wouldn't be a foundation for you. It is also very watery which could become a mess and the bottle itself is very messy. As I was applying this foundation it is weightless and covers all my acne and scarring without looking cakey or unnatural. This foundation does have a minty smell to it which is not that bad. I love this foundation but it does look orange on my fair skin so I would recommend this to people that have a more dark skin tone. All in all I love this foundation but I can't wear it because of it not being a light color for my fair skin. This would be a medium shade in normal foundations. Painted my nails!!

Good morning just kidding more like good afternoon! Today I decided to paint my nails because they looked like a war zone! I used the sally hansen xtreme wear nail polish in "270 lacey lilac" this is a really nice lilac purple which is great for this time of year. How to: make healthy pancakes!

Hey guys so the last time I posted a recipe I got a lot of good feedback so today Im going to tell you about this new healthy pancake recipe I found on pinterest!!

To get started mesure all your ingredients-1/3c. of vanilla greek yogurt
-2 egg whites
-1/3 whole wheat flour
-1/2c. strawberries
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
-1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-1/2 teaspoon sugar 

Mix together yogurt, egg whites and vanilla. 

This is what is should look like when you mix it. 

Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda.

This is what it going to look like after you mix it together. 

Mix together the dry ingredients into the wet and whisk. 

Mix well and this is what it should look like. 

On a hot pan spray some olive oil on it and pour the batter in using a spoon. 

Once the pancake has "bubbles" on top its time to flip it using a spatula. 

Use the strawberries to make the plate look pretty and enjoy!! 

How to: save money on your makeup!!

Hey guys so I know that many people are wondering how they can get there makeup for cheaper. Makeup has gotten very expensive over the years so I will tell you how you can cut down on the prices.

Coupons: I know how old fashioned but it really does work to save money! I love getting the sunday newspaper and cutting out all the makeup coupons there is always valuable coupons worth $1-$6! Also, you can get them online from www.coupons.com just "clip" them and print them it just that easy!

Sales: Every so often stores have sales on makeup get your makeup products when they are on sale! Also, try to find a coupon for them so you can get that product for a lot cheaper! For places like ulta or sephora wait until they offer a deal when you spend a certain amount of money you get something for free! 

Clearance: Many times stores put things on clearance to make more space for new products this way you can get products for much cheaper. (Also try to use a coupon on it)

Retail me not coupon app: We all have so many apps on our phones that we don't even use well ditch them and download this baby. On this app you look up any store you are at and it shows you all the coupons they have available! This has saved me hundreds of $ over the years! (This app is free) 

Hautelook: On this website you give them your email and they send you 1 email a day telling you about 1 day deals on makeup, fashion, home decor and more you can get up to 90% off retail.

Makeup of the day!

Hey guys, so today I went a little glam with my makeup! I started off by priming my face with the 

maybelline age rewind primer which I have been loving lately. Then with my real techniques expert face brush I applied the foundation (revlon nearly naked). After I applied my foundation I used my covergirl pocket powdered foundation. Overtop I put on some nyc "sunny" bronzer in the hollows of my cheeks and around my face. For eyes I stayed pretty simple and used only mascara. For the lips I just put on my favorite butter gloss in apple strudel. I also filled in my eyebrows with the Rimmel brown gel eye liner. Makeup of the day!!!

I know I have posted a lot today but this one is the last I promise! So, this is my makeup of the day; the foundation I used is the covergirl clean foundation with my real techniques brush. To set that I used to cover girl pocket powdered foundation. I also used my new favorite bronzer which is the nyc bronzer in sunny. Outfit of the day!!

Small Bath and Body Works haul!

Semi-annual season is going on and I can just smell the sales in the air. So, of course in honor of the semi-annual sale I had to pick up a few things. First I got a candle which was on sale for $3 which is amazing because normally they are $12. The other thing I pick up was a hand sanitizer for only $0.87!!! Which they normal retail for $1.75. Thats all for my haul today have a great day!

Target haul!!

They guys sorry for not posting in a while but recently I went for a Target edventure! I only got 2 things so im very proud of myself. The first thing I pick up was the Rimmel gel eyeliner in brown and so far I really like it. The other thing I picked up is the NYC bronzer in sunny which is the dupe for the Benefit hoola bronzer and I am so amazed with this bronzer I know its going to be one of my everyday essentials.

My eye shadow collection!!

Hey guys so today I will be showing you my eye shadow collection!! I love eyeshadows I feel as though they really help in bring out your eyes. This post will also include mini reviews.

Loreal studio secrets in lavender smokes- This product is perfect for a purple smokey eye that anybody can do! 

Physicians formula shimmer strips in brown eyes- This product is great for people who don't even have brown eyes it has lots of great neutrals and also purples. 

Isa Dora- eye shadow quartet in golden rainbow- This has crazy colors but the pigmentation is amazing. 

 wet n' wild in walking on eggshells- The pigmentation is great and its also very affordable for everyone. 

Nyx love in paris in Parisian chic- This pallet is the perfect neutral palette I use this just about everyday. 

Paula dorf in perfect nudes- Im not so happy with this palette because every color has a orange undertones which are very hard to work with. 

Stilla eyeshadow in kitten- I love this color but mine sadly broke. :(

Revlon eyeshadow in chocolate- This eyeshadow isn't that good because the pigmentation is horrible but it is buildable.

My concealer collection!!

Hey guys so I just wanted to share my concealer collection with you and also do a little review on them. To help you know how helpful they are to concealing blemishes, dark spots and imperfections.

Mac pro long wear- I will not rate because they matched me with the wrong color but it does have nice coverage 

nyx waterproof concealer- I love this product it doesnt crease and really covers well.

almay smart shade- I didn't enjoy this product for blemishes but it was ok for under eye. 

covergirl- This is good for undereye if you don't have to much baggage under your eye if you know what I mean but it didn't work on my blemishes. 

nyx HD concealer- This product is amazing for under eye and works well for blemishes. 

VS double ended concealer- This product just didn't work for me it really didn't concealer or anything and also it creased. 

Physicians formula- This product works pretty good for concealing the redness but it only comes in one color that really didn't fit my skin tone. 

nyx wonder pencil- This product is wonderful I use it on the go in case my makeup washes off this is perfect for the summer if you just need to touch up. 

maybelline cover stick- This product is very good for under eye and also for blemishes. (great for a person that doesn't have a lot of makeup or is new to makeup since it does everything) 

Sonia kashuk- This product I use just about every day for my blemishes and imperfections its simply wonderful!

Review time!!!

Hey guys I know I haven't been posting a lot lately but I have been working on some fun things and will be showing them to you very soon!!! So today I will be doing a review on the Revlon colorstay whipped foundation and this was my go to foundation last year. I haven't picked it up again until this past week. I was going to a fun carnival in my town and knew that this baby could keep up with sweat, heat and cute boys. :) Revlon says that this foundation "wears up to 24 hours, buildable to full coverage and that the bouncy, whipped formula feels ultra light and silky smooth." And I could not agree more this foundation is super lightweight and it doesn't even feel like you're wearing any makeup at all. Sometimes with this foundation I don't even need to wear a concealer to hide some of my imperfections. Also, you don't have to worry about this foundation coming off or becoming cakey which is great!! I would recommend this foundation to anyone in need of coverage and longwear. This foundation is perfect year around!

Review time!!

Hey guys so im going to try to post more when I can so as you can tell from the title I will be doing a review. This weekend I bought the elf moisturizing lipstick in the color "ravishing rose" The color is like a raspberry red and is a matte lipstick. (matte meaning no shine) This lipstick is super pigmented and is sooooo moisturizing I have never experienced any lipstick like this one!! The best part it is only $3 at target or on the elf website so its super affordable! I will definitely be buying more colors who am I kidding im going to buy all the colors! ;)

Review time!!!

Hey guys so today i will be reviewing the Rimmel London Kate lipstick in "113." So, I had very high expectations because a lot of reviews that I saw or read online said a lot of positive things about this lipstick. Now the color of this lipstick is nude with a tad of orange so its great for many types of skin tones but when I put it on my lips it made my lips look very dry and also this lipstick would not stay on me. It would last 10 minutes and then rub off. In all I didn't like this lipstick and I will not be repurchasing it. How to: organize your makeup under $10!!

Hey guys so if your like me you must have a lot of makeup and its really hard to organize it so I have thought of a great way to organize it and only spend about $10. Most of these products you might even have at home!! So, I just bought some square containers by glad to kind of separate everything.

So, this is how I organized everything in this extra drawer!

In the first organizer I put all my primers and setting sprays!

The next organizer hold all my eye products!

Next, I organized all my concealers!!

The next organizer has all my lip products!!

Next, these are all my moisturizers, lotions, and acne things!!

The next bin is a little different its a bit bigger and this just has my foundations,
powders and some plodding papers!!

Behind all my foundations I just keep a makeup bag with some brushes I don't use!! 

Thats pretty much it I also keep some makeup wipes and products that haven't been open so yeah make sure you add you email to the left to get notified with new posts or follow this blog!!!

Quick little recipe!

Hey guys so I know I have been doing a lot on makeup on this blog but I wanted to do something a little different this time and share a little recipe with you guys this is so simple and they taste so good like I could eat 10 at one sitting but I obviously don't because that would be really bad for me! Anyways lets get on with the step by step directions.

To start off what you will be needing is any flavor of jam I am just using strawberry,
also you will be needing crescents and i'm just using some I found at the grocery store.
For tools all you will need is an oven, baking sheet, foil, spoon, and also clear plastic
wrap if you are not making all of them at the same time. 

Next, what I like to do is wrap my baking sheet in some foil so you don't have to clean
the pan later. (my favorite secret for easy cleanup)

Sorry for the blurry picture but next what your going to do is just spread
the jam right on to the pastry with the back of your spoon.

Next, I just wrap them up like this.

Then, I put them in a 350 degree oven for about 14-16 minutes. 

If you only used half the package like me then just wrap the extra in some clear
 plastic wrap.

And I rolled mine up like so and popped it in the fridge. 

And this is what they came out looking like!!
(btw I ate one before taking this picture so that's why there is only 3)

Rimmel stay matte primer

Hey guys I know it has been a while that I have posted but I have been really sick for the past week so I motivated myself to write on here for you guys. So, today im going to do a review on the new Rimmel stay matte primer and at first I thought that this primer was going to be cheap and not worth it. That was before I finished like a half a bottle in not even a month! So, I obviously love this product it is SO good its thick, white, and creamy and its perfect. On the skin it goes on smoothly and makes your skin more matte and also covers some of your little pores. You can use this product under your foundation or BB cream or even wear it on its own if you would like but make sure to moisturize before putting this product because its NOT a moisturizer even though it might feel like one. So, if your in the market for a new primer that's under $8 check it out they sell it at Target, Ulta, Walgreens, CVS or any store that sells Rimmel products. Overall I would give this primer a 9 out of 10.
